Data Engineer
I was working part-time as a Data Engineer for Mountainise where I created pipelines for various clients. I was mainly extracting and transforming data from SQL databases into pipelines that could transfer the data into other platforms. My work heavily utilized Google Analytics, BigQuery, and many more big data technologies in processes like data transfer and real-time data availability to support reports and analyses.
Built automated data pipelines that transferred large datasets from SQL to BigQuery and other platforms. Improved the processing of data to a great extent, save time on transfers and analysis, leading to faster actionable insights for clients’ decision-making processes. Reduced manual work required in extracting data, therefore far better utilization of resources and cost savings for clients.
